Care Instructions
To help maintain the quality, shape and appearance of your cotton drill valance:
- Wash in cold or cool water, around 30°C, using a mild detergent.
- Select a Delicate, Gentle or Hand Wash cycle.
- Wash the valance alone or with a few similar lightweight items. Do not overload the washing machine.
- Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals, as these may weaken the cotton fibres and cause fading.
- Do not wring or twist the valance, as this may stretch the fabric and affect its shape.
- Air dry by hanging, preferably in the shade to help protect the colour.
- Do not tumble dry, as high heat can shrink cotton drill and weaken the fabric.
- For best results, iron while slightly damp.
- Iron using a medium-to-high cotton setting.
- For darker colours, iron on the reverse side or use a pressing cloth to help prevent shiny marks.
