COTTON AND LINEN COMFORTERS AND CUSHIONS
- Made of 100 percent cotton or linen these items can be machine washed on a delicate cycle in lukewarm water. We suggest you use a professional dry cleaning company and ask for the item to be wet-washed and line-dried on a gentle cycle.
- Avoid spot cleaning or soaking as this may cause the fabric to bleed.
- Do not bleach, dry clean, or tumble-dry
- Hang to dry promptly after washing.
- Gently pull the quilt into shape while still damp to lessen shrinkage by 5-7 percent.
- Avoid direct sunlight.
- Natural dyes have been used in the dying and printing of these fabrics so there may be some fading over time. However, this adds to the heirloom quality of the quilt.
