- Made of 100 percent cotton or linen these bedspreads can be machine washed on a delicate cycle in lukewarm water. We suggest you use a professional dry cleaning company and ask for the item to be wet-washed and line-dried.
- If washing at home in your washing machine, do not overload it as the bedspread needs to move freely inside to avoid any damage.
- Avoid spot cleaning or soaking as this may cause the fabric to bleed.
- Do not bleach, dry clean or tumble dry.
- Hang to dry promptly after washing.
- Gently pull the bedspread into shape while still damp to reduce shrinkage by 5-7 percent.
- Avoid direct sunlight.
- Natural dyes have been used in the dying and printing of these fabrics so there may be some fading over time. This adds to the heirloom nature of the bedspread.
