- Made of 100 percent cotton or linen, these bedspreads can be machine washed on a delicate cycle in lukewarm water. We suggest you use a professional dry cleaning company and ask for the item to be wet-washed and line-dried.
- If you wash your bedspread in your washing machine at home, do not overload it. The bedspread needs to move freely inside to avoid damage.
- Avoid spot cleaning or soaking, which may cause the fabric to bleed.
- Do not bleach, dry clean or tumble dry.
- Hang to dry promptly after washing.
- Pull the bedspread into shape while still damp to reduce shrinkage by 5-7 percent.
- Avoid direct sunlight.
- Natural dyes have been used to dye and print these fabrics, so some may fade. This adds to the bedspread's heirloom nature.
